The Edible Schoolyard Intensive: Farm to School

Bring your school or district's team of farm to school stakeholders to the Edible Schoolyard Intensive to strengthen your holistic approach to long-term program success. The three-day training, presented in partnership with the Chef Ann Foundation, will focus on relationships between food service staff members, school and district leadership, and classroom, garden and kitchen educators. Participants will learn strategies for integrating innovative food procurement and hands-on experiential learning that teaches children how to grow, cook, understand, and value food in their daily lives.

Chef Ann Cooper will be leading the "School Food Track" of the program, holding training sessions on farm to school, recipe development, menu planning, school food finance, procurement and marketing.
