In this article from the Chicago Tribune, author Monica Eng discusses the dairy industry's solution to rising childhood obesity rates: milk that has low-calorie artificial sweeteners. However, the industry wants to avoid prominent labels about the additives and just add them to the ingredient list. Critics like parents, consumer activists. and doctors view this as little more than a ploy to sell more milk by confusing customers about what's in the product.
