About the Chef Ann Foundation

The Chef Ann Foundation is dedicated to promoting scratch-cooking in schools across the country. Our organization was founded in 2009 by Ann Cooper, an internationally recognized author, chef, and advocate of healthy food for all children. In the last 10 years, we’ve helped more than 10,000 schools and 3 million kids eat healthier, fresher school meals.

Our Mission

To provide school communities with the tools, training, resources, and funding that enables them to create healthier food and redefine lunchroom environments.

We are grateful to our generous Supporters and friends who help us carry out this mission.
