I am a passionate chef and culinary professional who began my journey in the Philippines, earning a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Institution, and Hotel Management with a major in Culinary Arts and Nutrition from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde in Manila. I moved to the United States as an international intern at the Hyatt Regency in Fort Myers, Florida, where I discovered my love for leadership in the kitchen. I later grew into roles as a management trainee and sous chef at the Grand Hyatt in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. Today, I am proud to serve as a Chef for Capistrano Unified School District, where I am celebrating my 10th year supporting students and the community through nutritious, thoughtfully prepared meals. Being recognized as the District Management First Spirit Awardee is a meaningful highlight of my career and a reflection of my commitment to teamwork and service.

Who We Are

The Chef Ann Foundation is dedicated to promoting whole-ingredient, scratch-cooking in schools. Scratch-cooking enables schools to serve the healthiest, tastiest meals so that kids are well-fed and ready to learn.

Our Mission

Why Cooking in Schools Matters

We all want kids to feel and do their best in school. The foods they eat play a critical role in making that happen. But right now, too many kids don’t get the kind of meals they need to succeed.
