I started working in Child Nutrition as an Operations Clerk for the Galt Joint Union High School District 2018. At the time, I was a stay-at-home mom, and the position was meant to occupy my time while my kids were in school.  I learned that I had a passion for Child Nutrition, and four years later, I became the Director of the department. I have found my calling and will dedicate myself to the future of child nutrition.

We all want kids to feel and do their best in school. The foods they eat play a critical role in making that happen. But right now, too many kids don’t get the kind of meals they need to succeed.
