Program Coordinator of California District Support.

Leah joined the Chef Ann Foundation in December 2025 as Program Coordinator of California District Support.

Leah studied psychology with a minor in child and adolescent development and brings experience in program coordination at nonprofit organizations, where she advocated for healthier and safer workplaces and livelihoods. Her passion for sustainability, conservation, and helping others led her to the Chef Ann Foundation, where she is excited to help create healthier pathways to success for children through healthy meals.

Outside of work, she loves exploring the local farmer’s market, discovering a new café with a coffee in one hand and a book in the other, thrifting, going on road trips with her family and furry companions, and anything vegan-friendly.

Who We Are

The Chef Ann Foundation is dedicated to promoting whole-ingredient, scratch-cooking in schools. Scratch-cooking enables schools to serve the healthiest, tastiest meals so that kids are well-fed and ready to learn.

Our Mission

Ensure that school food professionals have the resources, funding and support they need to provide fresh, healthy, delicious, cook from scratch meals that support the health of children and our planet.

Why School Food Matters

American kids start their life-path in K–12 schools where they learn the skills necessary to thrive & meet their potential. While the country debates the best ways to teach them math, science & English, we spend little to no time on food & nutrition.
