A former school teacher and a member of a family with eight generations of farmers and professional chefs, Figueroa brings a unique blend of firsthand experience in education, food systems, and advocacy. They are excited to draw on their policy and advocacy expertise to advance the Coalition’s work and strengthen the school food workforce.
