Saori Mikami 

Graduate Research Intern

Saori is a PhD student in Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University and a Graduate Research Intern with the Chef Ann Foundation. Her research focuses on children's and families' diets, feeding practices, and the behavioral factors that support healthy eating among children.

Saori is a PhD student in Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University and a Graduate Research Intern with the Chef Ann Foundation. Her research focuses on children's and families' diets, feeding practices, and the behavioral factors that support healthy eating among children.

Saori is especially interested in understanding how family, school, and community environments interact to influence children's dietary behaviors and nutrition. Through her research, she aims to contribute to the development of effective strategies that promote healthy eating and improve child health outcomes. Outside of research, she enjoys surfing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family over board games.
