With more than 11 years in K-12 school nutrition, including prior service as Chef for the San Bernardino City Unified School District, his work centers on advancing scratch-cooked, whole-ingredient meals, strengthening central kitchen systems, and developing teams that can deliver nutritious food at scale. Alonso is dedicated to creating school food programs that support student health, reflect community values, and ensure every student has access to meals prepared with skill, care, and purpose.
