Imari is passionate about sustainability and believes that food justice can only be achieved by recognizing, respecting, and uplifting marginalized communities and their connection to the environment. She believes that restructuring school food is an incredible way for children to create a special bond with their local agricultural communities and natural environment.
In her free time, Imari enjoys thrifting, baking desserts, studying interior design, and playing with her rescue dog, Miso. She is enthusiastic to join the Chef Ann Foundation and hopes to empower communities as they learn about the changes being made in school districts across the nation!
