Multi-State Workforce Programs Coordinator

Meg serves as the Coordinator of Multi-State Workforce Programs at the Chef Ann Foundation, where she supports both the Fellowship program and the expansion of the Pre-Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship programs across multiple states.

While earning her bachelor’s degree at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, Meg discovered her passion for sustainability and developing others. Her professional journey includes working as a Training Program Specialist for the USDA Forest Service, where she coordinated and delivered national leadership training.

Before that, Meg worked in the environmental nonprofit sector—leading AmeriCorps conservation crews across Minnesota and developing programs and partnerships for Voyageurs Conservancy, the nonprofit partner of Voyageurs National Park.

Meg is proud to come from a family of school food professionals. She firmly believes that investing in our school food workforce and expanding access to scratch-cooked food is essential not only for the future of our children but for our communities and planet as well.

As a big believer in “Type 2 Fun,” Meg spends as much time outdoors in her free time— ice and rock climbing, skiing, and hiking her way through all seasons.

Who We Are

The Chef Ann Foundation is dedicated to promoting whole-ingredient, scratch-cooking in schools. Scratch-cooking enables schools to serve the healthiest, tastiest meals so that kids are well-fed and ready to learn.

Our Mission

Ensure that school food professionals have the resources, funding and support they need to provide fresh, healthy, delicious, cook from scratch meals that support the health of children and our planet.

Why School Food Matters

American kids start their life-path in K–12 schools where they learn the skills necessary to thrive & meet their potential. While the country debates the best ways to teach them math, science & English, we spend little to no time on food & nutrition.
